- Confirmed the death of worker Richard Christopher Stevens
- Briefed media on the status of injured workers and successfully refuted false claims about C.C. Myers' workplace safety history

- Coordinated grief counselors to meet with the company's workers who had witnessed the accident

- CALCASA My Strength Campaign Launch Event

Introduce the My Strength campaign to the target audience of 14-18 year old males and to the secondary audience of influencers, gatekeepers, parents and rape prevention activists.

- Held launch event at Sacramento High Schools' Underground Books to unveil the campaign elements and recognize participating partners
- Secured The Strength team and actor, Dorian Gregory, as spokespeople for launch event

- Every local television station covered the event along with a large spread in the Sacramento Bee
- The campaign generated more than 150 print, broadcast and online stories garnering more than 13 million impressions
