Each Mind Matters

Our work for the California Mental Health Services Authority (CalMHSA) is better characterized as a movement than a campaign. The Each Mind Matters (EMM) effort is designed to combat stigma and discrimination associated with mental illness by empowering individuals and organizations throughout California to take action.

Each Mind Matters is building a web of mental health education and support that encompasses the entire state. Coordination with cultural experts and community leaders led to the development of nine targeted efforts, including those geared to age-specific and underserved audiences. Each target audience benefits from tailored events, toolkits and resources to help achieve CalMHSA’s goals.

The power and success of Each Mind Matters is the result of many voices calling out for change, and we’re thrilled to be a part of it, proving yet again that harnessing and uniting the energy of passionate people can indeed be a very powerful thing.
